A safe and therapeutic space
A safe and therapeutic space
I’m Brian Beamish, a humanistic integrative counsellor, based in South Wales. I’m a friendly, safe and professional therapist, providing a confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about a wide range of issues, including gender and sexuality, anxiety, depression and relationship issues amongst others.
I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, including in LGBTQ+ and young people's organisations in London, carers and community development charities in South Wales. My training was undertaken at the CPPD counselling school in London on a BACP-accredited course and I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework.
Counselling is a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for 50 minutes each week where you can process your concerns, life events and struggles. I believe counselling can lead to self-acceptance, insight and positive change in your life.
I will work with you each week to address issues that you bring, at your own pace and in a safe environment. I offer short-term and open-ended counselling, with daytime and evening availability to suit your requirements.
I see people face-to-face and take extra precautions to ensure your safety - the therapy room is well ventilated in between appointments and all surfaces are wiped down with antiviral agents.
I am still able to offer video (Microsoft Teams) and telephone counselling if that is your preference.
Contact me to see how we can work together.
